Trust Students Visit Normandy

Students from both Whalley Range 11-18 High School and Levenshulme High School, academies within the Education and Leadership Trust, went on a joint trip to Normandy, a historic region of northern France.

We would like to take the opportunity to congratulate the students who came to Normandy on their excellent conduct throughout the trip. During the trip, our students demonstrated and developed a range of valuable skills, including language, numeracy, leadership, communication, confidence and teamwork, through working in mixed year groups on a variety of challenges and tasks.

Miss Shute (World Languages) said of the trip:

The girls were a credit to the School and to the Trust, and we are very proud of their achievements during the four days we were in Normandy. The trip was a huge success, and we look forward to running similar trips in the future!
