Top Award for Exceptional Student Progress

Both Whalley Range 11-18 High School and Levenshulme High School, schools within The Education and Leadership Trust, have been nationally recognised by the SSAT (the Schools, Students and Teachers Network) for their exceptional performance during the 2015 academic year.

Educational Outcomes data analysis from the SSAT has shown that both schools are in the top 20% nationally for progress made by students between their Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 4 results.

Sue Williamson, Chief Executive of SSAT said this of the award:

I hope that SSAT’s Educational Outcomes award will highlight the professionalism, commitment and hard work of the leaders, teachers and students within The Education and Leadership Trust. Recognising and sharing successes like this is at the heart of SSAT’s mission, so I am delighted to congratulate both Whalley Range 11-18 High School and Levenshulme High School on their achievement.

Executive Headteacher of The Education and Leadership Trust, Patsy Kane M.A, was delighted by the news:

We would like to congratulate all of our staff, students, parents and the community for all of their hard work and support, which collectively has helped our Trust schools to achieve these fantastic awards, and most importantly help our students to achieve their very best.

The SSAT Educational Outcomes Award will be presented to the Executive Headteacher of The Trust at a special event to be held at Flixton Girls School in Urmston on 9th May 2016.
